Cara Install Dual Boot Ubuntu 12.04 Dan Windows 7 Di Satu Komputer-Tutorial di sore ini mengtengahkan tentang cara menginstal windows 7 dan Ubuntu sdalam satu komputer. Cara ini bisa menjadi solusi anda yang hanya punya satu komputer dan ingin menjalankan Ubuntu dan Windows dalam satu komputer anda.

Saya anggap  pada komputer Anda sudah terinstall Windows 7 dan juga komputer Anda memiliki ruang penyimpanan yang cukup untuk menginstal Ubuntu bersama windowsnya. Karena kebanyakan pada instalasi Windows, menempati seluruh hard disk.

Hal nomer satu yang harus sobat lakukan sebelum Cara  Instal Dual Boot Ubuntu 12.04 Dan Windows 7Di Satu Komputer adalah mengecilkan Partisi dan membuat/menyediakan ruang kosong untuk instalasi Ubuntunya. Serta, Hal lain yang harus di lakukan adalah
mem-backup data penting Anda sebelum memulai proses, tujuannya bila ada error, data2 anda tidak hilang.

1. Dan klik 'Start' -> lalu klik kanan 'Computer' dan pilih'Manage'

2. Selanjutnya, 'Disk Management' pilih dan klik kanan pada disk lokal (C lalu klik "Shrink Volume'

3. Sebagai contoh saya membuat ruang kosong/space ubuntu dengan kapasitas 8156 MB, ruang kosong ini saya ambil dari besar kapasitas pada (Local disk :C). Jika sudah selesai menentukan besar ruang kosong untuk ubuntunya, lalu Klik 'Shrink' 

4. Setelah mengecilkan drive dan membuat ruang kosong untuk ubuntunya, restart komputer Anda, pastikan bahwa CD / DVD Ubuntu sudah di masukkan ke dalam CD/DVD Room komputer anda. Jangan lupa juga setting boot dari CD / DVD.

5. Selanjutnya, pilih "Something Else" dan klik 'Continou'

6. Kemudian klik pada ruang kosong/free space yang sudah kita buat tadi, dan klik 'Add...' untuk mmembuat ruang swap.

7. Selanjutnya, tentukan jumlah swap untuk membuat. biasanya yang saya buat adalah 500 sampai 1000 MB. Jangan lupa untuk memilih "swap area". Klik Ok untuk menutup jendela.

8. Selanjutnya, klik 'Add..' lagi untuk membuat partisi Ubuntu dan menggunakan semua ruang bebas/free space yang tersedia. Pastikan untuk memilih garis miring (/) sebagai mount point.

9. Selanjutnya, Centang filesystem ext4. Sejauh ini kita sudah berhasil untuk menkonfigurasi aturan yang diperlukan sebelum mendualboot Windows dan Ubuntu. Lalu sekarang di lanjut dengan menginstal Ubuntunya, klik 'Install Now'

10. Lalu ikuti langkah - langkah penginstalannya hingga selesai,

Setelah instalasi udah selesai, maka anda akan disajikan dengan tampilan berikut saat anda memuali menyalahkan komputer anda, dan anda dapat memilih OS mana yang akan anda gunakan.

VIVAnews - Google telah mengaku melanjutkan versi sistem operasi Android dengan nama Jelly Bean. OS terbaru ini akan tampil pada smartphone HSPA+ terbaru Galaxy Nexus.

Smartphone ini tampil sebentar pada toko konten Google Play. Tapi, Google langsung menghapusnya. Blog Droid Life sempat mengambil gambarnya. Harga smartphone terbaru itu US$409.

Daftar pada Google Play itu menunjukkan Google berencana menjual Nexus secara langsung, seperti Apple. Ini telah menjadi rancangan Nexus One pada 2010. Tapi, Google akhirnya mundur karena permintaan atas smartphone seharga US$529 itu sangat kecil.

Jelly Bean dikabarkan sebagai sistem operasi Android versi 4.1, melanjutkan Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Rumor lain mengatakan itu nama kode untuk Android 5.0.

Menurut Mashable, Google akan mengganti strategi untuk Jelly Bean. Google itu akan memperbolehkan berbagai perusahaan untuk mengakses awal OS itu. Sebelumnya, Google telah bermitra dengan satu perusahaan untuk menyediakan model "referensi" terlebih dulu.

Menurut Examiner, Jelly Bean akan memiliki fitur yang lebih mengeksplorasi gestur. Fitur Jelly Bean yang telah diketahui yakni gestur untuk antarmuka OS, modus landscape dengan cita rasa tablet, managemen file khusus, dan integrasi managemen daya baterai.

Penyempurnaan dilakukan dengan mengamati apa yang sebenarnya bekerja pada iPhone dan ponsel dengan sistem operasi Windows. Kemudian, mereka mencocokkannya dengan ponsel mereka: melihat apa yang tidak bekerja pada Android. So, apa saja kelebihan OS versi 4 ini ?

Nah ini dia Kelebihan ICS – Ice Cream Sandwich:

Home Screen

Terlihat dengan gaya layaknya honeycomb (versi android untuk tablet). Kita dapat merubah ukuran widget seseuka kita, sehingga tampilannya akan terlihat lebih nyaman.

Ikon aplikasi dapat diseret ke dalam folder, ala IOS. Tapi Ice Cream Sandwich lebih unggul dari iPhone dengan membiarkan Anda menempatkan kontak seseorang (atau setidaknya jalan pintas speed dial) ke dalam folder juga, dan bahkan menempatkan orang dalam ‘favorit’.

Keyboard


Sedikit update pada bagian keyboard yaitu kemampuan inline pemeriksaan ejaan. Sayangnya masih belum support bahasa Indonesia.

Dulu, kita tidak dapat berbagi screenshot Android sederhana, semudah pada perangkat IOS. Nah, sekarang Android memiliki kemampuan screenshot persis sama, dengan animasi Polaroid kecil yang lucu untuk menyorot tindakan.

Notifikasi


Sebenarnya sistem notifikasi di android sudah sangat baik dibandingkan sistem operasi lainnya, namun disini masih disempurnakan dengan tanda notifikasi saat ponsel dalam keadaan terkunci

Browser
Perubahan yang cukup sigifikan terletak pada tampilan browser. Browser ini mampu membuka hingga 16 tab! tampilannya pun tidak berbentuk horizontal pada umumnya, namun berbentuk vertikal dan bertumpuk.

Umumnya kita terkadang juga lebih minat tampilan versi desktop sebuah situs dan yang kita lakukan adalah menghilangkan sudomain “m.” pada url browser kita atau mencari link ‘dekstop view’ pada sebuah situs, namun dengan versi android ICS kita tak usah repot-repot melakukan hal itu, cukup memilih option – full screen, kita akan mendapatkan tampilan website versi desktop.

Email
Aplikasi Gmail pun tidak luput dari update. Kita dapat memilih beberapa email sekaligus untuk mempercepat pengarsipan. Kita juga dapat membolak-balik email Anda horizontal, untuk membaca lebih cepat, dan bahkan mencari hingga 30 hari ke belakang, tanpa terhubung ke jaringan.

Mobile Data
Sebenarnya fitur ini sudah ada di versi android sebelum-sebelumnya, yaitu kita dapat menonaktifkan mobile data Anda untuk menghindari biaya yang tidak diinginkan dari operator nirkabel. Kita juga dapat melihat grafik bulana penggunaan data kita, namun bedanya disini penontrolan ini lebih spesifik. Kita dapat melihat aplikasi apa yang paling menyedot kuota internet kita. Saat ditemukan, kita juga dapat membatasi kuota untuk aplikasi bersangkutan. Its awesome and usefull bagi kita yang di indonesia!

Video dan Foto
Kamera baru pada ponsel Galaxy Nexus memiliki zero shutter lag, dan mendukung video 1080p, time-lapse video photography, dan pilihan lainnya. Tapi di luar itu, semua perangkat Ice Cream Sandwich akan membiarkan Anda berbagi foto langsung dari dalam kamera, dan melihat semua gambar Anda tidak hanya diorganisasi oleh waktu tetapi dengan lokasi atau bahkan orang-orang.
Dan seperti pada iPhone, Anda dapat melakukan beberapa pengeditan dasar pada kamera.

Desain cantik
OS Android terbaru ini memiliki penampilan yang jauh berbeda dari Gingerbread. Tampilannya lebih elegan, dan fitur notifikasinya pun diperkaya dan lebih interaktif. Google juga melakukan perbaikan dengan sejumlah font baru yang optimal untuk display HD.

Interface-nya pun terlihat teratur. Di Android terbaru ini, penggunanya bisa melihat aplikasi terkini (recent apps), yang baru dibuka dan bisa multi tasking dalam membuka apps. Tampilan recent apps ini terlihat seperti yang digunakan di Honeycomb.

Fitur ini merupakan fitur berdasarkan teknologi NFC. Dengan teknologi NDEF Push, dua ponsel Android yang menggunakan teknologi NFC bisa melakukan pertukaran data dan informasi. Jadi dengan hanya men-tap, maka kontak, webpage, video, atau musik bisa ditransfer, sama seperti menggunakan bluetooth.
